Watch our Sustainable Buildings Workshop

This time at our seventh workshop we looked at sustainable homes and business premises. Our buildings and homes hold many challenges for us when cutting the carbon and being more sustainable. At this Thursday’s Sustainability Workshop, we looked at what impacts can we make to our homes and business premises, including practical solutions, making changes and getting planning permission. Watch the presentation:

Dr Gregg Moore lead a very informative presentation looking at what impacts can we make here, including practical solutions, making changes, and getting planning permission. After the presentation it was all about sharing ideas, where delegates asked a series of questions to Gregg. Our next workshop will be on Sustainable Food and Waste Not Want Not (reducing waste) Jonathan will be leading this workshop and will look at cutting the ‘food’ carbon and saving money by lowering food miles, growing food organically, growing at community allotments or in gardens, preparing your own food and moving to meat free or lower meat diets. He will also be looking at reducing waste, making the best of all our resources, re-purposing, repairing, and sharing.
