Climate Conversations Begin This Saturday

Three Climate Conversations are being held around the town and we begin these this Saturday, 5th March, at Glamis Hall. The conversations are starting at Glamis Hall because they are the lead partner in this project and because Glamis Hall have a great story to tell about their transition to becoming more environmentally friendly. Join in the Climate Conversations, they start at 10am!

This kicks off a new project in Wellingborough to help residents, business and community groups better understand and respond to the challenges of climate change and to work out how we can begin to transition to more sustainable ways of living and working. It’s called Wellingborough Climate Action Project (WCAP) and is a twelve month North Northamptonshire Council funded set of actions to help us get the ball rolling in our town. The project is led by Glamis Hall in partnership with Wellingborough Eco Group.

Through these events we aim hear from local residents, groups and businesses about their understanding of climate change, the impacts and how we can also respond to these positively, and showcase some great solutions. If you can’t get to Glamis Hall, don’t worry, there is a Climate Conversation happening near you:
